Ignite Lifestyle Blog – Where the spark starts again
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that reinvention doesn’t happen in a straight line.
Some days you glide forward. Some days you stumble backward. And some days, like me this morning, you nearly trip over your Min-Pin and realize that broken hips are now a very real thing to avoid.

This space — Ignite Lifestyle Blog — is where I share all of it.
The wins, the setbacks, the small triumphs, the honest struggles, and the lessons I pick up along the way.
Life is full of moving parts, and I’m juggling a few big ones right now:
- Seasonal Affective Disorder and the way it dims and brightens the edges of my life
- Living without a gallbladder and learning what foods my body can (and absolutely cannot) tolerate
- Hip arthritis and the daily choices I make to keep mobility and pain under control
- Menopause, because the hot flashes and mood shifts deserve their own category
- A very real fitness comeback, complete with weight gain, backsliding, and the humbling act of starting again
This isn’t a perfectly curated wellness blog.
It’s a real one.
My version of rebuilding strength — physically, emotionally, and mentally — while running a business, navigating midlife, and finding the spark again.
I’ll update this space when I can, and when I have something meaningful to share. Some days it will be a victory. Some days it will be a lesson. Some days it might be me admitting that chamomile tea and a deep breath were the biggest accomplishments of the day.
I’ll also be sharing my daily fitness essentials — the simple tools that genuinely help:
